fairing compounds...

Hi there, Epoxy resin is neither easy to sand nor sand to detail. Yesterday I just add 2 parts of fairing filler into 1 part epoxy resin, brushed a thin layer on top of a glassed board. The sanding job was quite easier~~~… Any comments or inputs would be much appreciated. Regards, Crabie

System Three Epoxy has two formulations they claim are blush free. “Clear Coat” and “SB-112” - They say that polyester can be used over it after sanding. Free download of catalog and manual that explains… http://www.systemthree.com/home_01.html

Herb, Welcome back, Batman… Noodle must not agree to spackle the whole board before hotcoat. I havent tested the strength of it and I 'll let you know the result later. Regards, Crabie
