Aloha everyone, I was checking out the board section and ran across this site below. Can someone explain how this is done? This is VERY cool and I’d like to attempt this sometime in the future, thanks in advance for any replies http://www.claybennettsurfboards.com/surfboards/105-0578.jpg

ive heard of a few different ways on how to get the “Falsa” look. #1 - you sponge on the color to get it streaky #2 - get an old messed up comb and break off a few of the teeth and run it up and down the board, this puts streaks in the foam and gives it a strange “grain”. this way, when you apply the paint it will pool in the streaks where you combed it and appear darker to get that streaky, grainy look. (you can also use an old paint brush with hardened resin and crap all over it to gouge the foam to get the grain effect as well). #3 - all other methods probaby didnt seem that great because i have forgotten them. -=steve
