Favorite Classic Longboard Video / Surfer

Looking to see what classic longboard videos or surfer’s styles gets you pumped. This winter’s been slow wave wise so anything to get me fired up… for 1-2 ft waves hahah.
Ive been watching a lot of the Duct Tape invitation videos (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QmUPQXQyzjk) and some of the older Hobie videos (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0coduZK3B0&t=9s) where you can tell they’re just having a blast being in the water.

Any footage of Phil Edwards gets me pumped. My favorite surfer of all time.

Phil is amazing.

I love to watch butch van artsdalen.

Da Cat…

Of all the icons of surfing, that I’ve known and surfed with, there is only one guy that I’ve ever gotten out of the water to watch him surf. His moves were fluid, powerful, and most often unexpected. It was 1966, at WindanSea, and he and another internationally known surfer paddled out together. It was a late summer afternoon, with solid five foot south swell waves, and frequent six foot sets. After about ten minutes in the water with him, I rode a wave in, and sat down under the shack to watch him surf. After about twenty minutes, I paddled back out. It was a wordless tutorial on what surfing is and should be. That inspired surfer was Mr. Phil Edwards.

Gotta be endless summer its got just about everyone in it .

every Bruce Brown movie is worth owning, if you like longboard surfing, travel, and fairly bad jokes, with a good sound track.
