Favorite wood aroma?

Oneula I had asystem like that for spraying Poly Linear Urethanes on Yachts.  I was a certified appilcater for Streling Paints and Awl Grip finishes. Had rip off lens covers so when the over spay built up you could tear it off and the next one down would be clear.

It was an expensive set up but worth it.  Charcoal canister regulators just did not cut it.  A Back Breather was OK. The hood was great.

Alaskan Yellow Cedar…Some say it smells like that weed that is now legal in Washington State…

Agreed…

Love the smell of Alaskan Yellow Cedar. I have some salvaged planks from a peir that was built in the 30’s. Machines like butter

Balsa fir for me. Reminds me of tromps through the woods looking for Christmas trees with my grandfather.

Its wonderful to read that so many people are in touch with their senses, and that smells are so evocative of different times and emotions. Well done guys.

Put your nose in the sound hole of a new, quality acoustic guitar (Martin, Collings, Taylor, etc.) and take a deep huff. I swear you can smell the tone…
