FCS TC Aqualine fins

Has anybody tried these fins?

FCS specs say there is 6 degrees of cant in the front fins. Does anyone know if that has been built in off the tabs?

I have set my plugs for 6 degrees of cant, so using these fins could result in a total of 12 degrees. I think that would be too much, perhaps slowing the board down.

Any thoughts?

Karl

they caught my eye

really stiff with small tips and lots of cant

wicked

This discussion seems to be saying a huge amount of cant would create alot of lift while the rail in a turn, so better for softer waves. but 12 degrees still seems alot

i was thinking to use them griffin style quin but with a small trailer

should work great in juice

Got a new set off Ebay Paul. Just over half the NZ price landed here within a week.

The fronts are pre-canted 6* so you’d need to think about what cant you’d set into the plugs. I’ll have about 12* which will be interesting.

The back quad fins are smaller than the rear tri fin so you’d need to find a smaller middle back fin. The quad trailer is set back on the tabs much more too.
