Does anyone know of another company that makes FCSII compatable fins?
I don’t believe there is one. Their new system is patent-pending or patented so as to keep copy-cats at bay.
Or you can put grub screws in the threaded holes of the FCS2 fin boxes and use any FCS-compatible fins.
Using grub screws I can get up to 3/8" movement in the tabs using G-10 in these boxes which is Very noticable .
That’s a lot of motion. Perhaps longer screws?
I am talking about fore and aft movement to adjust placement - a good thing .
I was hoping someone else made them since it looks like a patent on the fin wouldn’t hold up based on the FCS vs Surfco HI lawsuit from back in 2000 where the court ruled the fins were replacement parts that couldn’t be pattented.
FCS rep here came to the glass shop I use promoting the new COLOR boxes - ewwww Sooo exciting .
One of the owners asked wheres the fins! You know , what makes it all happen .
Rep deflated and said There coming !!! :-)
So odd , I have no idea why this is taking so long .
