Feedback on a 6'4 hybrid quad

I was thinking to make a building thread, but I’m still a bit in doubt what this board is going to be. I might cut it down to ‘just’ make a fish.

I made this blank from leftover scraps on HD eps foam. Made a scarf joint that made things way too overcomplex and most likely unnecessary. But only time will tell I guess.

Inspiration of this board is a lost lazy toy for outline and what it should do. So more or less a groveler type board that provides stability for a noice surfer looking to go down to something shortboard-esque.

Now when I look at this board it keeps bugging me a bit… the outline looks too much of a plug. Dimensions are 6’4 x 21.5 x 2.6.

Perhaps any feedback on the outline would be much appreciated. Bottom I was planning to go flat to double to spiral vee starting between the quad fins and going out the back.

The out line in the last pic is fine. Keep it. Hopefully the stringer and epoxy will hold it all together and keep it in one piece.

This old bird says “swallow tail”

Cool! I’ll continue as planned.

I dont exactly know what a swallow tail does, but ill look into it. Currently a diamond tail but with no real reasoning apart from putting that pivot point more upfront.
