Just heard about this girl off of a Roxy blog post…
http://everydaysurfboards.blogspot.com/
say is that a guy with a beard?
wearing an experience t-shirt?
is he the coach?
…ambrose…
Thought i’d just add a pic of what im working on at the moment, as i’ve been encouraged by a few of you to ‘keep posting’. is there a specific place on swaylocks for sharing recent projects etc??..im quite new to this! : )
You’re in the right place and beautiful board, I really like the colors. More pics of it?
certainly! here’s a few more. unfortuanlty i was too eager to get it in the water, so pics are with wax … : )
…hello Miller76, very nice lamination and color work; are you sure that s your number 4 board?
anyway, yes there s a thread where members put their work; is called something like: “post your latest work” or like that
I think that s in the main page right now.
Check it out
cheers for that reverb. i will check that out.
i started shaping and glassing this april until that point i’d never touched a piece of fiberglass, or resin, or seen a blank before…so yes…thats most definatly my 4th board! : )
Yes, that's a very nice looking board regardless of whether it's 4th or 400th.
Artz - The lady who worked with Skip Frye may have been Dessa Kirk. I spoke with her briefly at one of the Sacred Craft shows. The boards she had on display definitely had the Frye influence. I snagged a photo from her Facebook page...
Miller 76 I Like that fish. Post a ride report!
John Thanks for posting those Boards Great art work
You are going great Miller, H.
I honestly don’t think this girl really knows how to shape… or airbrush for that matter, but she’s nice to look at. She shows up at the 54 second mark in the video.
[video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZ7uwy-2Fns&t=54s]
…that clip reflects one of the main points of what s going wrong with our societies…
Lightness in everything.
All, right now, so no time to get deeper or understand anything.
Lightness of spirit
Also fake boobies
"...and today I'm going to shape my own surfboard", ROFLMAO!
so I clicked to full screen,
then I checked to see if she raised her pinky finger
while using the block plane.
then I compared the clip with the dick brewer shaping
video on the end screen…
the accumulated white foam dust on her leggings
and fore arms in subsequent farmes were proof
that she was indeed not photo-shopped into
the shaping room. For some reason
I couldn’t keep my eyes on the board
My gaze kept wandering back
to her hair and outfit, who makes those
fine garments ,and who does her hair
never out of place…and no foam
on her fore head …
there should definitely be
a female event at sacred craft.
…ambrose…
she can really
weild a keyboard
(the future doesn’t exist)
who sweeps that place up
it sure is clean.
