i am looking for a source for feps, not as a blank but in block.
any help grately appreciated.
surftech say they are the only one with it?
All EPS are close cell. Some have more space between cell than others. In general, for same density, bigger cell allow less space between each others but finish shape blank is bad. Surftech use a low density with ultra big cell directly mold to the right shape.
i know eps is all close cell but there channels between the beads, i am looking in feps. no room between the beads period.
no water absorption, no centrifuge setup to empty the eps water packed…
look at the surftech site, looks freaking awesome.

i repair some surftech tufflite, one broke in half, foam looks tight but suck water too.
All EPS foam, supertight label, diamon or hexa cell or whatever brand you want suckwter (and money, lol).
Look at decent industrial (packaging) foam, somewhere between 1,5 to 2 # with strong rails, many board i repair suck water because of rails dings and from fins inserts.
