Has anyone done any business with Fiberglass Supply lately? I am trying to follow up on an order I placed online and haven’t received, but the phone number on the website is out of service and emails sent have not been responded to.
Where are you located and I am not surprised.
I don’t usually do mail order . Oregon Shapers in Pacific City. For mail order I would reccomend one of the suppliers that frequent this site. Lowel
Huntington Beach, Ca.
Needed some Probox parts, and couldn’t find them elsewhere is why I went online. Would have preferred to purchase from one of the site shops.
I haven’t purchased anything from them lately, but always got good service in the past, hope you get this resolved satisfactorily, for everyone’s sake.
I think it will turn out okay, but am concerned about no response to my emails, and the fact that the phone numbers on their website don’t work.
541-436-2613 worked last time I called.
they seem to always do better with a phone call than an online order.
great service! My last order had a wrong blank in it, so Jose sent a guy down in person to swap me out with the right one… Granted, I am only 3 1/2 hours from their shop.
Thanks for the number, I’ll try it tomorrow during business hours. My reason for trying to contact them was that I was trying to add to order if it hadn’t shipped. Just concerned that I couldn’t make contact.
Sure hope they are still in business. I need to order some cloth they carry.
Pro Box is in Torrance.(or near Torrance). Why order from Fiberglass Supply? In Washington?..When you live 30 min from the source…
DudeMar from Delmar… you live in the heart of Surfboard Central…F…man… There’s surf stuff all around you…tons of stuff…you’ve been on here for a while…not all suppliers post here. Costa Mesa, Westminister, San Clemente, O’side…
What do you need? I have extra inserts…I have some friends… we can make deals happen…Ray
Right up The street from you, on 101 is Mitches North in Solana Beach. I would check there for what you need.
I was under the impression that Probox was no longer in production and limited to what stock was available through dealers. If I knew I could have gotten it straight from Probox I would have.
I work days, so checking dealer stock limited me to the internet. When a search brought up Fiberglass Supply as having what I needed, I just purchased from them. I would have bought local if a search would have shown local, but it didn’t.
Number provided by crazyeddy didn’t work either. Since I have no way to contact them, at this point if order shows up, it shows up.
If it doesn’t; I probably have what you need. Still have stock. It was my understanding that you could still get boxes, inserts etc. from Larry. I think he said they were focused on the SUP market. They are such a slow mover anywhere other than Swaylocks that I don’t know whether or not I will order more after these run out. I’ve got one Backyarder that uses a few about every 6-8 months. Lowel
Thanks Lowell, if they don’t show up I’ll contact you and see if you have what I need (4 deg inserts) and can part with them. Charges hit my account, so I’m hopeful they will be shipped.
Their website works for me. No idea about the phone number.
I ordered Proboxes from them last November via website. Package arrived sooner than expected with more in it than expected/ordered/charged for, but it would have been nice to get a confirmation email saying when it shipped and which carrier, but perhaps amazon has spoiled me in this regard.

So was I.
Sad really, the adjustable cant was brillant.
RIP…
Best 'O luck…
Update: Spoke with Jose from Fiberglass Supply through email. He said phones have been down for a force update. He provided shipping info and a tracking number. Package was shipped the day after the order was placed, but through tracking never left the post office in Kent Washington I called the USPS and they said package was lost somewhere at the post office and that it had never left and could not be found. They are sending me out a claim form to fill out and start the process for a lost item. I let Jose know what transpired, and he is sending me out another package to replace it.
Bottom line: Outstanding service provided by Fiberglass Supply, and they have definitely gained a customer for life.
I’ve bought quite a few from them. They had/have the best price.
I was going to buy more Proboxes from them, but the online price was 6.66 and I didn’t want to pay the devil. Not sure what I’m going to do because I’m getting down to the last couple of sets. Guess I’ll have to buy a bunch of them and get the lower price.
I really like the probox system, and being able to use fcs two tab fins really opens up your options. I’m going to stock up on boxes and inserts.
