Fin box help

I want to make a board which I can change the fins from a std thruster, to twin fin and to a single fin. What sort of box can I use that will alow me to change the trailng thruster fin to a Single fin that is slightly forward. I have put a third FCS plug in on my fish to move the trailer fin forward if I want, will 2 FCS plugs hold the pessure of a single fin of a larger size.

Cheers

FCS tried and failed with a single fin set up. It consisted of 6 FCS plugs in a row to be used with a single fin with 4 tabs on it. I tried it on several setups and it just sucked. The fins would break or pull out, plugs would crack, etc. Just too much surface area on a single fin for those little tabs to deal with.

My suggestion would be to run a fins unlimited box in back (the big 10.5") with some type of fin system for the front fins (fcs, red X, etc.). Keep in mind, if your talking about running a more traditional twin fin set up vs. a thruster set up, your front fin placement will be different (depending on the shape and tail width - front fins on a standard thruster are about 11" to 11.5" up from the end of the tail - front fins on a twin are about 8" to 9" up). That means a fin box in back and two sets of some type of fin system up front.

Good luck.
