What size fin box is needed for a 9" fin? will either a 10 1/2" or a 8 1/2" work? also when doing a gloss and hotcoat with suncure resin should i let it sit for sometime to let the wax rise before i expose it to the sun?

I recommend a 10 1/2" box. I don’t use suncure for glossing but for hot coats I use catalyst in the suncure,let it go off like non-suncure resin then put it in the sun to get crispy hard. If you want to do a suncure hot coat without catalyst you have to add twice as much surfacing agent as you normally would,let it set a few minutes then put it in the sun for about 10 secs,bring in for 5 min. then back out in the sun to cure.
