Would it be possable to put a fin box on a board with fcs already installed. And if so how would one go about doing this?
The problem you will have is that the fcs plugs are a little wider in diameter than the box is wide, so are going to have some excess plug material to deal with. If you don’t card about the cosmetic issues or can paint marker over it when you are all done then you could do it. You could use the hole saw template they give you in the fcs kit, hot glue it down on you plugs and use their hole saw to cut around each plug, them pop them out. Place you fin box template (or freehand it) back over the area, route it out and install your new box. I would not suggest routing right into the fin plugs. They are made of plastic and could crack causing more problems. Is this a fcs longboard set up (6 plugs in a row) or the normal 2 plug set up? If it is a 6 set up, I would not bother with it, if it’s two and it’s something you want to try to do, go for it.
