I would start by grinding down all your problem areas to the wood. If your are very careful you can keep the logo. Once all cracks and delams are ground down then I would build a dam to repair the halo. Before you do any glassing you need to do a cheater coat of Styrene reduced resin and let it set overnight. This will help from future delamination. If your halo is “foggy” then it is most likely made with fin rope. If it is crystal clear then I would assume it was made with resin or casting resin. I would build the dam to allow for extra resin so you can sand down the halo to match what hasn’t been ground away. After you have built up your halo then place x2 6oz of glass on your halo and delaminated spots. Hotcoat, gloss, polish, surf and feel proud.
Wood repairs fairly well and if you do some Styrene wipe downs before any glassing/cheater coats the repair most likely won’t show.
