Hallo fellow swaylockians,
I’m currently working on a 6’9’’ x 19 1/2’’ x 2 3/4’’ EPS Trackerstyle shape. I have a little experience with shaping some mini simmons and have been lurking here for a long, but this style of board is completely new to me. I’ve used the search function and read through a lot of threads on single fin placement and also qaud fin placement.
It’s intended as a board for a little bigger surf, so it doesn’t have a ton of volume in the rails and I’m planning on putting a 9’’ dolphin single fin on there with sidebites, but would also like to have the option to use it as a quad if surf get big. I’m going to be placing the single fin box (10.5’') where the fin hangs 30% over the rails if you place it on the stringer. But I’m unsure if there is a way to use the finplugs for the side bites also for the front fins of the quad?
Any help on where to place the quad/sidebites would be hugely apreciated!
