Fin Plug install MEPK %

Hi Ive just done my first FCS plug install (x2 style) 5 fin set up.

I went with a 2% MEPK mix but it seemed to hot and I have slight deformation on the deck side of the board over the plug areas … little domes.

Clearly ive done the mix to hot?

Just wondering what % MEPK every one is using for setting the plugs.

The X2 usually take about 9ounces or less resin. I normally go with 1-2cc’s hardener with good success. Ive had that same issue with the deck but usually was indented not domed. Depending on outside temp I stay at 2cc. If hot then a bit under. Might take a little longer to cure but no indents.
