I am going to make a 62 with some kick to the rocker? What do you guys think about reducing my tow in to about and an eighth verses a quarter inch? i am just thinking that I might gain some more speed back from the loss of rocker. I do plan on making a single convave bottom as well. I would love to hear some feed back on different fin placements. I don’t rip and I don’t suck at surfing. I am probally a better shaper. My quest it to really make a board that works for someone of my skill. Also I tend to put my rear foot not as for back as I should. Can I make a my board accomondate my weaknesses? Lvoe to get some great feedback.
A design with more rocker is often well compensated for with a reduction in tow-in. A change from 1/4" to 1/8" is a lot though, and I reckon moving down to 3/16" would probably work better.
I’m sure some people will recommend a system with adjustable tow-in, like 4WFS. My system can also alter the toe-in pretty easily, but it provides another level of functionality as well.
