Looks interesting but at the same time it seems like you could easily knock fins out in certain situations. Leash getting wrapped arround. getting pushed back by a wave while duck diving in shallow areas etc.
I guess it would matter how much tension is on that spring huh...looks pretty cool though...wonder if it'll cut your hand off pushing it forward to unlock it?

and never see a stainless steel without corrosion in a surf equipment yet.
Gotta agree with Reverb. Stainless is NOT impervious to a marine enviroment, especially with all the sand that will impact in there over time. I also would like to see the box.
Looks pretty good system and the stainless spring won’t be a problem if they use good quality SS…even with abit of surface rust a SS spring would last years…prolly longer than ya board.
But another bigger problem they got is to get a big insurance policy in place because of the CI/FCS lawsuit…gotta sell a lot of fins to pay that sort of$$$
