yep i’m still at the same address , bernie , GREAT to see you on here again !
yes , i go through HEAPS of cups !! [an average of five , minimum , per panel [and you can imagine how many panels i've laid up over the last five years , yes ??]
did i mention my saw finally fell apart the other day ?? [overuse , is my guess , eh !]
…so now i need to buy another , of course , and get back into it .
guys , your fins are still being worked on [ie : the guys who replied to my “anyone want fcs fins ?” thread]
I was thinking it had been a while since one of these threads. Those are truly goregous fins. can’t wait to see them all foiled out. you should make some sort of collage or mosaic from all your resin cups, sell it as modern art to FINance your new saw.
yep , i still need to get me a new electric saw , before the foiling can begin …
i’m thinking the next batch might be green yellow and blue swirlys , but …you never know …once i start sniffing that resin , things often can chhhhhhaaaaaangggge !!
Austin Saunders (frequent poster in the Show Us Your Resin Tints thread) makes jewelry made from cut up resin swirl leftovers. They look pretty cool.

Great thread as always! You have some really amazing color combos. From your experience, can you do the center of the fins in clear lam resin, and then swirl the color work on the outer layers? Or is it better to keep the color work in the center and lam clear over it? or work the pigment work all the way through the fin?
