- do you foil them yourselves? 2) do you prefer fix boxes or glassed on? 3) do you experiment much with placement?
- do you foil them yourselves? 2) do you prefer fix boxes or glassed on? > 3) do you experiment much with placement? No I don’t foil them myself (although I can). I prefer fin boxes, FCS for thruster set up, Fins Ulimited long box for single fin or 2+1 set up. With the Fins Unlimited box you have some leeway to forward or back. I have my 9 1/2" standard Harbour fin up somewhere around 7" on my longboard and thats fine for me. I have added a little fin around 2"x2" in front of that fin (kinda like a C-5 for a single fin) and it seems to add a little punch on the turns and the board might be going a little faster. It hasn’t made the board ride any worse.
