First Board: 5'6" biscuit

Hey Everyone,

This is my first post but i’ve been spending a lot of time on this site for the past year, and i’ve finally gotten around to shaping a board. My friend’s dad owns a foam company so he gave me a small block that i shaped into about a 4’ board just so i could get used to the planer and practice glassing. I’ve since bought a big block and searched websites and messed around on different shaping softwares and finally came up with a shape somewhat resembling Channel Islands Biscuit. I got my dad to make me a wire harp to cut the blank from the block using rocker templates i cut out of wood, one of which I used for the actual rocker.

This is with the rocker glued in (I used white glue.)

I’ll be updating as I get more done. Please feel free to comment, and thanks to everyone who uses this site. I wouldn’t be able to do this without everything i’ve learned from this site.

looks good so far - keep us posted on progress!
