[First Project] 5'8" Diamondback Riversurfboard

My first project ever :slight_smile:

It should be working at the Eisbach in Munic, so I decided to have a short,wide and thick board with a diamond tail and less rocker…

In the end it will be a 5’8  19" 1/2 2" 1/2 flat bottom to slight vee in the back.

My problem is the EPS-Core I’m working with. It has a height of 4" so my rocker will be very flat.

What do you think? Do you think the outlines and the rocker will work as shown in the akushaper-image?

it will be faster with a flatter rocker. depends on the waves you want to surf it in. i like the outline. though

welcome to sways. board looks great. I can’t help you concerning performance as I haven’t surfed the Eisbach wave. But I’ve built a couple of boards out of EPS and I am based in Nuremberg so if you have any questions concerning where to order stuff you’ll need along the built let me know…
