So I went on a bit of a trip experimenting with acrylic house paints, the first bunch of boards I did went well, paint was mixed down with maybe 20% water. It sprayed well but took a long time to dry. From reading stuff off sways I went in search of the elusive ‘Future Floor Finish’ which I found out is not available in Australia. Determind that we must have a product like it I looked at MSDS sheets, rang ‘lab’ people at SCJohnsons then other companies to ask what was in the stuff and to find something similar. So I got a floor polish which I thought was similar (didn’t do a test) and sprayed 6!! boards with the sh!t!!
I glassed the first board and it went kind of off white/yellow so to ‘save’ the situation I put some blue pigment in and this was the result…
