If you cut the glass with scissors straight up the crack, the resulting fiberglass will not fit right for the cutlap on the other side. There’s a space of no glass right on the crack and a little to each side. If I add any glass patch, it’ll show up bad in the tint. How can I get a clean glass cut so as to cover adequately?
You can’t. Every tinted lam coat board shows it’s laps as darker color.
Cure is only to make it opaque, or color the blank, but that still shows upon closer inspection.
Double glass, double color, that’s the way it works with lam tints.
