Fish Wood keel template

I was advised to put a 9" base/5.5 height wood keel on my 6.4x23x3 fish. Here is a stab at the template. Let me know what you think. After I get it right I’ll print it out and use it as a guide for cutting the wood.

After the template is cut out, then I sand the contours in, then add the 4 layers off glass front and back and then sand again, right? Disregard the 7.6 in the background, I couldn’t find my single pic of my fish.

In the resources section there is a pdf that has the lis keel template that you could blow up and use…Have fun…
