Does anybody know where I can get foam blocks to make a blank with? Can be either eps or pu. Im looking around the Santa Barbara, CA area but will travel a little ways, and I may be going down to San Diego so that is an option as well.

local shaper call first and see if he will sell you a blank
Look up Insulfoam in Dixon. They supply EPS foam, but shipping might be a problem to SB. I drove over and bought a block from them cheap. But I’m only 70 miles away. If you get a block you can get several blanks out of it, so each one gets cheaper…
Perhaps you should just buy a blank while in San Diego (try Mitch’s in Solana beach or La Jolla).
