Hi there, I have two pieces of 1/2" thick 2lb density foam sheet left and wanna try to make fins out of it. The outer layer should be the composition of 2-3 layers of 6 oz fabrics plus epoxy resin. Any comments about it? I did consider to make it out of plywood but I think its much easier to cut and shape the fin by using foam. Thanks for your attention. Regards, Crabie

Put it between a couple of pieces of foam cut to the template of the fin shape you want. Next foil and put a good strong shell over the foiled foam. There’s allot to learn when it comes to making something really nice. I think 1/2" foam is a little thick unless you want to a very full foil. Gone Surfin’, Rich
