Foam Florida is a new distribution company formed in the wake of the closure of Clark Foam. Foam Florida has secured the rights to distribute Elova Foam for the entire East Coast. Elova Foam is based in Argentina and produces high quality polyurethane surfboard blanks. Their formula is MDI based and is stronger than the majority of its competitors. In the past MDI based foam formulas yellowed more quickly than those on a TDI basis. The MDI formula has evolved and with the help of strong UV inhibitors, yellows much more slowly than TDI based formulas. Elova Foam is also a very dense foam with an extremely tight cell structure. The finished Elova boards hold up very well and tend to last longer than a finished Clark.
