how has the feedback been on the fcs adaptor that goes into finboxes [‘fins unlimited’ / multifin systems’] ?
I ask , because the one board I have with fcs side fin plugs, has a back 8" finbox.
I’m wanting to get a set of the H2 fins, but need to know what experience[s] you have had regarding the strength of the ‘F.C.S. finbox adaptor’. Have any of the boards you surf used the system ?
thanks !

p.s. - anyone else who has used this system / uses this system , please reply too…
Howzit chipfish, You need to tweak the adapter a little, since there have been cases where the adapter pops out of the finbox. One of the set screws is at an angle and this is the weak spot but it's an easy fix. have the adapter out of the box, insert the fin and tighten the angled screw so it marks the fin. Now take the fin out of the adapter and just drill a 1/6 -1/8 deep hole where the screw mark is. This will seat the screw into the fin and it won't pop out. Other than that the adapter works great and you can use any FCS tabbed style fin you want. I've given a few friends the adapters and after the little fix they love the fact that they can use a thruster setu up on a board with a box. Aloha,Kokua
