those waves look really tall and slopey… that ski getting taken out was pretty crazy

The xxl video on that page was INSANE!  Airdrops midwave at Shipsterns Bluff just MIND NUMBING!  Laurie Towner paddle in late takeoff at Cloudbreak just eating it BIGTIME aaarrrgghh!   Where do those guys get the cojones for that stuff?

for sure, Laurie Towner at Cloudbreak was just ridiculous... kinda reminded me of Bruce Irons getting lip-launched at Chopes a few years back.
