How could anyone watch these without endless airs and cartoon tow-ins complete with annoying music? WTF? Did anyone ever care about knuckleheads surfing huge waves on ridiculous equipment with no leg ropes? I never did (before my time) but I do now. It makes me nervous every time I see one of those guys trying desperately to go straight across a Waimea wall with some guy right next to them - can you imagine trying to control one of those boards (the fins!) on a wave like that? I had an old Velzy/Jacobs when I was a grom and the thng was flat out DANGEROUS.
