I made a new and improved mount!  A little divinycell, A mount of epoxy/ milled fiber cast in a silicone mold, and of course Cordura the unbreakable fabric laminated in a vacuum bag.  I think someone posted a while back that Cordura doesn’t work well for appearance.  I think it turned out ok.  I made it for a local grom for $50.00  Anybody want one?   Or if anyone is interested, I could do a thread on how to build your own.

thats better

cheers huie

Nice ones!  Makes me want to drive up there.    However I have to agree with the one poster about trying some kind of pole mount.  On both those waves you got a bit of a tube but you can barely tell. And I know that wave is hollow.  It would be nice to have that behind the rider view like the old Free Ride stuff.

ps Back when I used to surf that place more often (like when I was still single) a lot of times no one would even paddle out to the upper point because it was so close to the rocks and there was that one on the inside that was kind of dicey on smaller waves.  The last few times I went there it was really crowded.
