Why would Future acrylic bead away from some repairs? I have a favorite board which had several dents in the bottom, which I filled with a cabosil and UV cure resin combo to make flush. When sanded, these repairs then seemed textured instead of glossy/polished. I figured ok, I’ll smooth out the whole bottom and blend it with an acrylic (Future). But even after two coats and a light sanding in between, the acrylic pulls (beads) away from these repairs. Can anyone offer an explanation and a solution? Will I have to remove the acrylic and just do a light resin gloss coat over the bottom?
…You sanded the surface when it was soft not completely dry.This mixed the surfacing agent in the works rather than sanding it off.Thus non-stick surface,try sanding it again.Herb
