Some of us remember when FCS was considering buying out Futures awhile ago and then it seemed to fall through. I was speaking with a production factory today and they told me that FCS had finalized the deal and now owns futures? This is a question not a statement. Does anyone know? I would have passed it off as industry gossip were it not for the fact that it was once a consideration.

From what I have heard it was Macquarie Bank that has bought out Futures, which are the same company that owns Surf Hardware Int., who own FCS.
But it was just one of those things that I heard in conversation.

It’s been almost three years, and I don’t think things were so crappy back then…
I’m a tad late on this one but I believe FCS was looking at buying Futures as they looked like competition (god forbid). Deal didn’t go ahead for what ever reason.
