Futures to ProBox conversion

Hey all I got this 7’ x 13.5 x 22.5" x 16" single bump shaped by a friend of mine I love the board but from day one I wished it was a quad.

The first thing I did was to mark out the fin placement I used a long straight edge and established my fin positions my inside fin edge points

@ 2 3/8" off the center of the stringer the rear fins follow this line as well. I filled the futures box with some foam and did a tail patch with some blue tint

I carefully set my jigs and routed. Going through the old boxes took some time so slow and steady was the trick. I lined my box voids with one 7.5 oz layer

of glass and a 18" strip of roving. I am a big guy @ 6’ 4" 250 lbs & I like big fins My thinking was the extra renforcement can only help!! I am waiting for a day with minimal humidity

so I can gloss but it looks like I will wait till the fall. hope you enjoy the pic’s  Over & out   R
