General Purpose Resin for a laminate?

A quick one for all you glassers out there. Is there any major disadvantage in using an unwaxed GP resin for laminating? I realise that it is not as clear as regular surfboard lam and that it seems to be quite a bit thinner. Will the thickness (or thinness) cause drain-outs?

you mean that brown boat stuff…um it could work , i guess …just so this board isnt going to be important…its resin allright but i think its not really meant to flex and its pretty ugly .but , whatever

Howzit DMAN, I have one word for such a question, PIGMENT. Aloha,Kokua

Not only pigment, but double glassing, and Cooperfish hotcoat idea.

That resin cures brittle!

I have had no problem using it, until now. If it’s your first board and you don’t want to waste too much money in something you don’t know if it’s gonna work, go ahead and tell us yor results. JaCk
