Nothing like seeing a surf movie out in a theater rather than on the small screen…
Andrew Kidman’s new movie “Glass Love” is playing at the Rio Theatre in Santa Cruz Saturday night at 8pm. Andrew will be playing music before the movie and a show of the Way of the Bird colaborative paintings/photos he did with Andy Davis will be hanging in the gallery next door. $10 at the door.
Check out Andrew’s website www.litmus.com.au for more
We loved Litmus and this promises to be even better. Check it out.

and really fulfilling wave sans surfer shots…
go see it (in vid projection)
when will someone bring back screening FILM (like ‘backintheday’ at the civic with frisbees and doobies)?
Figured I’d wait to post this until the movie was over. I didn’t like it at all. The music was terrible the same slow acoustic all the way through. There was no high point, just one monotonous, slow, stoned pace. A lot of the surfing wasn’t very impressive (and I love Currens style), the local unknowns are ripping harder than a lot of what I saw in that movie. There was some real nice tube rides. I’ve never seen a surf movie with so much bullshit and so little surfing. No offense meant to anybody, it’s just my opinion (and the 3 people I saw it with).
I really liked the movie and bought it. Iam a old hippy and thought it was trippy. I can see how it appeals to more of a mellow crowd. Not for the pump, pump, pump shred ariel crowd.
