I really enjoyed the Noserider Rocker post earlier. I think I’ll be getting the 10’1Y with reverse rocker for the first board I shape. I want to do a summer cruiser (I know, should’ve started months ago) that will paddle well and catch anything and offer a little nose time. I’m planning on a 10-footer at something like 19-20" N x 23-24" x 15-16" T and 3.25-3.375" thick. First question, is the 10’1"Y blank the right choice for this? Second question, what dimensions would you change and why? Third, what about the rail configuration? Finally, my tutor isn’t the best glasser, he’s on his 7th board and there getting better. I plan on having my first shape glassed professionally. Who do you recommend in the NorCal Santa Cruz area?
