Hello all, Winter is approaching here in NJ and I dont really feel like waiting until spring to glass again. I would like to glass up to Christmas, Jan-March is far too cold. Glassing in a 10x16 shed. I only glass with poly resin and understand things can get dicey with fumes and flames. Im Looking to buy a small heater, is it safe to just use and electric heater with no flame? Probably a stupid question, but not trying to kill myself. Any suggestions, tips, stories are welcomed.
I’d say you’ll be fine with the electric heater. Warming the materials beforehand has worked better for me on colder nights. Kept the resin in the house (not mixed), quick run outside, mix and then apply.

Use UV. If you can’t build a box, hang a UV light from the ceiling. If you already have your resin, by UV additive.

PS. I know that you can get UV Powder(Suncure) from Surf Source. You might be able to get it from someone closer to home. Maybe Greenlight, but I am not sure if they sell anything Poly related.
UV light will kick it and heater will also work…. But, you could choose the fun option and turn your shed into a greenhouse
I don’t know about Jersey, but pot growers out here in the NW are going broke.
