Glassing in San francisco Area

Does anyone know of a place in the San francisco Area where I can get a good glass job. The only places I know of and been to are down in Santa cruz. Thanks -------Michael

Maybe Pacifica? I had a few boards glassed at a shop there a few years ago.

I’d probably just call SF Surfshop on Noriega or Norcal in Pacifica. Goodluck.>>> Does anyone know of a place in the San francisco Area where I can get a > good glass job. The only places I know of and been to are down in Santa > cruz. Thanks -------Michael

Michael, Just a little perspective on ASD. I have one their 10 footers. It’s an old school rounded pin with 50/50 rail, a real barge. It’s clear with pinstripped rails. The glass work is excellent. For a board as big and thick as it is (23" x 3.25") and the weight is not excessive. They make beautiful very competitively priced long boards. The work is very clean and I would recomend them to anyone who is interested in having a longboard glassed. What they sell out of their shops here in S.C. is pretty much old school execpt for Walden’s shapes. If you want a hybrid or a high performance board done, personally I’d go else where. There are many good glass shops here in Santa Cruz I know of a couple of very good ones if you have interest. I can’t speak to the the San Francisco area at all as it’s out of my territory. Good luck & – Good Surfin’, Rich
