Heres a few with the rail patches done. Its a nylon mesh that should be available at any fabric store.

Like a diving bag mesh or an athletic t-shirt nylon mesh? Any close-up pictures of it?
Why mesh? What advantage does it have over a tightly woven material?
I recently did a full board lam with “Inlayz” from Oz. I have no idea what it was, but it smelled like a new shower curtain when I took it out of the tube… which leads me to believe it’s nylon?
Anybody khow what that stuff is?
It’s just something I came across doing some research. I believe it flexes a little more than say carbon fiber that is brittle. Seems to work good as rail patches. Just trying to keep my rails on the tail from cancer.
Oh yeah, that inlay is probably vinyl.
