I saw a video of a guy doing this with different images , has anyone tried it and does it work ??
Works. But you have to be carefull what material the image is. A thin newspaper withe something written on the other side doesn’t work, cause you will allways see the dark letters from the backside in your picture.
if you can, much better to scan the page in and print it on rice paper, then lam it in like a logo.

I'll second that. also, if you decide to do differently then do a test piece, it'll save you a big mistake. good luck
