Glassing schedule on their site says 4 ply 4. Guessing its vac bagged with divinicell and thin plywood or veneer under your feet. No way its just 2 layers of 4 oz glass.
Hi -
They used to have a glassing chart on the Segway Composites website but it’s gone now. If I remember correctly, it was double 6 bottom and triple 6 deck on a 1.5 lb/cuft density. That would be for surfboards.
A similar question was brought up recently on the SUP website - check it out… http://www.standupzone.com/forum/index.php?topic=16814.0
Mako I think they from what the lady at bote had ment was 4 layers of 4 oz top and bottom . She said there are no veneers or any high density foams bagged with the board .
John I believe I read that post a little while ago . Typical post that starts out with a little info then goes into repeat mode .
I’m looking for some really world answers for something that isn’t copied to often .
I was thinking about going 3 layers of 6 top and bottom but with the rail on the deck I’m not sure it will lay out flat even if you bag it . Any input
