I’m using Glista as the gloss coat on my latest board… Glista is an EXTREMELY durable hardwood floor finish…AKA: Swedish Finish… It’s a single component liquid…It is clear, VERY fast drying, not extremely temperature sensative, levels out great, doesn’t require sanding for subsequent coats to bond…And durable… It’s available through flooring contractors…About $50 a gallon…It goes a long way…What I don’t use, I pour back in the bucket… It REQUIRES a vapor mask…Formaldehyde base…But it goes off fast, so it’s not stinky for a long time… Thought you might want to know… Paul
…What are you bonding it to?Will it stay stuck to polyester resin,w/o delaming?Herb
strength comparison??
The glassing is Epoxy Lam…Poly Hotcoat…Glista Gloss…
Strength…What do you think is more scratch resistant…???..A hardwood floor or a surfboard …I’m thinking a hardwood floor…
