Glue up Agave

Dear shaper enthhousiasts,

I am working on my very first agave surfboard project and now that i went through the first challenge, planing the stalks, it’s time for gue-ing up the agave stalks together.

 

Now…

 

What glue do i use?

Normal woodglue, epoxy based glue, gorilla glue,…

I would use wood glue.  Apply evenly to both surfaces and clamp.

If you plan on shaping it fairly soon after gluing up, I would use Gorilla glue.  Wood glue stays soft for an extended time, where the Gorilla glue gets harder sooner.
