Just wanted to show you this.
It’s basically the same method that Greg Loehr shows in his DVD for EPS shaping.
In the discussion jrandys linked another thread , the link doesn’t work anymore , but if you just search backyard hotwire trick it will come up.
I think its a very good way to cut the blank, once you figure the mechanics out .
