Good place to get stringer material in San Diego

Where can one find stringers (bass wood, poplar, bamboo, etc) in San Diego, CA? I’d prefer not to have to purchase full 4’x8’ sheets or large quantities (backyard shaper).

J & W  Redwood, and Frost Lumber, are the two best sources in the San Diego area.

if you have to buy quantity to get a good deal, I might be willing to split a deal.  I have about 10 stringerless blanks I need to glue up, and not enough wood laying around.  would prefer red cedar or basswood, but not too horribly picky.

Red Cedar, and Basswood, are both on the floor at Frost Lumber on Miramar Road.

When I had my Yacht repair and painting business in SD, Frost was the place to buy any and all wood products.
