Gordie longboard

I dug an old gordie longboard out of my parents attic it was signed BR and a number 130 or 140? Can’t remember the number has a tail block and balsa stringer does anyone know anything about which shaper signed BR? Or what it may be worth? It’s in really nice condition,

Pictures.

Yup. Without pics you’re wasting your , and our, time.

Pic of gordie

Gordie looks pretty much stock.

BR? GD would be EZ.

Ha never post more than what pertains to the topic!

Now the Hobie, smells of PE

I’d take the Hobie over the Gordie…

Not much to go on with just one pic and no close ups. I can’t tell if those are pinlines or stringers offset from that 2" balsa center stick.

I also agree with mattwho. The tail on the Hobie has Phil’s lines.

The BR could that be bruce jones? I read that he shaped boards for gordie in Hawaii for a bit, and the black stringers are pin lines.on the hobie I assume the shaper may be Phil Edwards? It is not signed,

When you said the Hobie smells of PE, I thought you meant polyester.

Jones shaped for Gordie from 1968 to 1970, as far as I know. So, that board is too old given the time frame.

The Hobie isn’t signed because virtually NO ONE signed their shapes back then. The most you’d find is a pair of initials or a symbol.

Two beauty’s, I’d be happy with the ugly one.

How much should I be asking for these boards if I sell them? Thanx

I’ll give you $250 for both

$5000 easy.

$500-600 a piece, tops
