I’ve been experimenting with fins…made two longboard fins 9.5" which both came out pretty good, but 30 layers of glass, foiling dust everywhere, being stoned for a day and a half (even with organic filter mask and good ventilation) isn’t worth the hassle. Soo my new endevor has been sanding off the finished coat on a store bought fin and glossing on a graphic…it’s coming out pretty good. The question here is should I buff the hell out of the last coat for a good shine or can I spray on Kryon acryllic lacquer??? Thanks…
I frequently fine tune a fin, and use an acrylic lacquer for final finish, when high gloss is called for. So, spray away !
thanks!!
