Green Foam Blanks

Anyone shape with green blanks?  I picked up a couple stringerless ones for cheap at a garage sale and noticed all these speks in them.  I’m guessing that’s recycled material? and I guess I’m going full pigment with these ones!  ; )

Yeah it must be.

They take foam powder and glue back together, so it’s not really “recycled” per se, more like improved waste management.

And they have to be more dense than the blank which the foam was ground from as well. I wonder how they control that? Maybe they don’t.

Yeah, I just assumed it was a different color density like red density, blue density etc.

Honestly I wasn’t a fan of how it was cutting, but hey they were practically free!  This one was a 6’6’’ stringerless thruster shape.  Oddly it had a bunch of concave on the bottom already? thought that was interesting.  So not much work to do on it!  Keeping it stringerless and chopping off 6inches to make a stubby quad out of it!
